OpenRFPs Government Interest Form

  • Ask a question
The Department of Better Technology’s goal is to improve the way government works by making it easier for small, innovative businesses to provide great technology to government. But those businesses can barely make it through the front door when the RFPs themselves are stored in archaic systems, with sloppy user interfaces and disparate data formats, or locked behind paywalls.

Open RFPs collects data about contracting activities, including RFP listings as well as awards, and makes that information available in a standardized format.

While the primary method of finding and standardizing this data will be through the use of scrapers, we're excited to partner with government agencies who are willing to publish their data in an open, standard format from the start.

We're still actively developing the OpenRFPs schema, but we'd love to talk with you about the coming steps. Fill out this form, and we'll be in touch in the weeks to come.
